Toys (this referring to toys made by toy companies) are pointless. Read all the other reviews that you want about how great they are and how much time your child will spend playing with them, but I am here to tell you that if your children are anything like mine - don't waste your money buying toys.
We got Peyt some really great things for Christmas, but the toys sit on the shelves and he's only wanted to do one thing this whole winter......shovel. "Please Mommy, can I shovel the driveway? Daddy, please don't shovel without me. That is pretty much the only thing that will keep him occupied for more than a couple minutes. (It could be that shoveling in our backyard was our only activity for the first two years of his life!!) I've never seen him get as excited about anything as he did when our neighbor gave him a new snow shovel!!
And yet, I don't think I'll ever give up hope. There's got to be a good toy out there somewhere!!!

That is SO TRUE!! For my kids it was a case of applesauce. I completely agree with you, I don't know why I pay good money for toys that just sit around and never get used. Oh well...
True, true! Addison loves anything that isn't a toy...remote controls, spatulas, door stoppers, cell phones, writing utencils...you name it, she loves it.
Hey! My kids love to play in the rocks and dirt too! We have all these toys for them and they always gravitate to the dirt. Why? I don't think I'll ever know!
